Church at Grace is casual, relaxed and friendly! Everyone is welcome to join us regardless of his or her religious beliefs.
Our welcome card says, "Come as you are" and we really mean it. A suit and tie isn't required, (although it's fine if that's
what you like), most of the people who attend Grace regularly wear whatever they are comfortable in.
When you arrive for our Sunday morning gathering, you'll be greeted by some friendly people and invited to join us for free
coffee. Our time together begins with about
20 minutes of worship in music. The music we sing is led by a band and sounds more like something you might hear on
FM radio than in church. After worship and a prayer is a teaching from the Bible that is focused on helping us
in our relationship with Jesus.
At the conclusion of every service is an opportunity for anyone who would like to
receive prayer for any need or concern they might have. Following the service, we stick around to say hello to friends
and give those interested an opportunity to meet the pastor and some of the staff. During every service we provide a fun,
safe and educational program for kids beginning with infants and up
through 6th grade.

Worship
Worship is the highest priority at Grace Community Church. It's what we believe God created us to do. Worship, ultimately is something that encompasses our whole life. When we gather together we worship God corporately in song. One thing immediately noticeable about our worship is that the songs we sing are sung to God, not about him. Psalm 40 says "sing a new song to the Lord" and these songs are part of a continually evolving liturgy that expresses in a new way the ancient and timeless blessing of who God is and what he means to us, his people.
Worship at Grace is not a spectator sport; everyone is involved. The words to the songs are projected on a screen and the entire congregation is free to sing while standing, sitting, kneeling or whatever. God promises that he will visit his people and actually live in the middle or their praise. We believe this and expect God to be present when we worship him.
Children
At Grace, we LOVE kids! As Paul put it, “We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the Gospel of God, but our lives as well.” I Thes. 2:8
Our purpose is to “Build up the next generation of the church for the Kingdom of God.” What does that mean?
B
= Bring to Jesus!
U = Understand scripture and apply its wisdom to our
lives
I = Impart our faith and Invest ourselves in his Kingdom
L = Love and Live for Jesus wholeheartedly
D = Disciple every child to become like Jesus!
Ephesians 4:15-16 (NIV)
"Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love,
as each part does its work."
Psalm 78:4-7 (NIV)
"We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation
the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.
He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded
our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the
children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.
Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands."
